About us

Lime Green is one of the UK’s most experienced smart technology companies, specialising in home automation installations. On our web site you will find the information and inspiration to help you take the first steps towards creating a digital home or business that incorporates the very latest in audio, visual and automation technologies. We have offices in London, Salisbury and Devon and only use in house dedicated and trained professionals to carry out all of our project management and installations.

To make your vision a reality there are 3 key steps we take:

Specification

One of our CEDIA trained smart home system consultants will visit you and listen to your requirements, both in terms of functionality and budget. They will also offer proactive advice in areas that you may not have considered to make sure you get the best from the vast array of smart technology available. They can also arrange for photo quality 3D visualisations of your project to be produced to assist your decision on equipment and finishes.

In the case of a new build or renovation project we will consult your plans of the building and go through what functionality you require on a  room by room basis. From here your consultant will produce an initial solution overview and estimate. This document will be sent to you for review and approval and once you are 100% happy with the solution specified, we will bring in one of our Prince 2 trained project managers to take the project to the next stage.

Project Management

This is perhaps the most crucial stage of any project and an area to which we assign a huge amount of resources. Your Project Manager will not only plan, design and ensure the smooth implementation of your system, but will also work with any other trades involved in the project such as architects, building contractors, heating engineers, electrical contractors etc.

Your Project Manager will produce full wiring diagrams, cable schedules and rack layouts. They will also produce a very specific functionality specification and conduct numerous site visits to check on progress. This ensures that we deliver  the exact solution you are expecting.

Once your system is ready to be installed, your Project Manager will call upon one of our installation teams and run through the project in detail.

Installation

All of our engineers are not only CEDIA trained, but also have been on numerous specialist product and programming training courses. Typically they will build and test the main rack/hub off site, so that time on site is minimised to avoid any disruption to other trades.

We have won many awards for our smart technology installations and our engineers take great pride in their work. The installation will have been planned in detail by your Project Manager using a Gantt Chart which means that at any time the engineers can ensure that the project is running to the timescale forecast.

Once the smart technology system has been installed, programmed and commissioned, your Project Manager will return to perform a final functionality check and conduct your training.
